Lentas is a small village in South Crete, it abstains only one and a half hour by car from Heraklion and it is far away from the massive tourism.

Lentas is a settlement in municipality of Gortys in the law of Heraklion. The cape of Lentas looks like a real lion. In the ancient mythology it was one of the lions that plunk the chariot of Hera Goodness. For this reason and the ancient city’s name was Levin and today the name is Lentas. The road for Heraklion is about 70km.
