Hamam Suites is a boutique hotel, housed in a 17th century Venetian mansion which used to be the private home of the well known “Madame Hortense”.
The building itself is a monument that has been renovated with love and respect to the history of our heritage. Most of the Chania’s Old Town was built by the Venetians in a bid to recreate a “Venice of the East”, especially in the 16th and 17th centuries during the town’s ‘cultural renaissance’. Paying homage to the history of the building, all of our 5 Suites have been sensitively restored to its original splendor.
The appearance of this historic structure transports guests to a rare place of refined elegance, where impeccable service, distinctive style and uncommon luxuries rule the day. With 5 suites , decorated with a mix of modern and classical décor and furnishings; each room has its own individual character and style. All rooms seamlessly weave architectural heritage with contemporary design.
Hamam Suites is adjacent to the ” Byzantine & Venetian fortification ” a living proof of the multicultural heritage of Chania over the centuries.
